The Existence and Nature of Demonic Wisdom

James is preaching to a body of people who claim the name of Christ but include some who are counterfeits. This is the key to understanding the Epistle of James. As we have already seen, James is NOT teaching that the Christian's tongue remains "a restless evil full of deadly poison, blessing God one moment and cursing God's people the next.
