Rest for Our Souls

Often religion seems a burden to us and cumbersome. Much to our shame! This is opposite of its purpose and intent. Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us that religion is a rest for our souls, in Matthew 11. "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest".
