Facing Troubles As God's Child

672

The gift of God's grace is eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. The maturity of this eternal life of faith takes place through the process of learning by fact and experience over the course of time.

James, the half-brother of Jesus Christ is writing to believers who are encountering great trials in living out their life of faith, by faith. He writes to remind them of the perspective they should have on their trials. In the course of so doing, he includes many commands that will, if put into practice, enable them to best deal with their hardships and difficulties.

No trial, hardship, difficulty or testing of the believer's faith is ever without good cause nor beyond the control of a loving and protecting Heavenly Father.

He also reminds them what are the blessings and benefits of going through the trials, and why in the long run the hard times prove to be what is good, right and best for their good and God's glory.
