The Soldiers and the Savior

This is one of three Old Testament passages predicting that Jesus will have no broken bones while on the Cross. This is a vital truth because He fulfilled the type of the Passover Lamb. We have centered on Jesus' interaction with the soldiers who were instructed to break His legs. At His arrest, certainly more than 200 soldiers were on hand. Their willingness to abuse the Master is obvious.
