Strength and Love

The greatest need of the Corinthian Church was maturity. Closing his first Epistle to them, Paul first explains how money matters are to be dealt with in the Church in the context of a special collection for the poor in Jerusalem; secondly he speaks of ministry matters, both his own that those of Timothy and Apollos; finally he urges on the Corinthians - and on us - that maturity matters. Strength and love together, and humble service.
