  1. We see that the leper's purpose was to be a witness of Christ's grace. Jesus sent him to the temple to be a testimony to the priests of Christ.
  2. In this leper, we see an illustration of harmful disobedience.
    Conclusion: It wasn't God who afflicted Christ with sin, it was Christ touching sinners. It was we whom Christ came to save who struck him and afflicted him.
