He Sees

The Lord Remembers - Message 5 - He Sees. In Zechariah's fifth vision he sees a golden menorah with 7 lamps, a large bowl above it with an olive tree on each side, with 7 pipes running from the bowl to each lamp carrying oil so that the lamp could be constantly lit. This vision was to convey a specific message to the governor of Judah, Zerubbabel, who was in line to be king. Just as the fourth vision was for Joshua in his dirty clothes, so this was for the governor who had an incompleted temple. What can we learn about the lamp, the oil, the olive trees, and our call to be the light of the world?
