Humility in God's creation is highly favored but He resists, or even actively works to stop those who are prideful. The problem is how to achieve more humility without becoming proud of it. This considers the automatic increase in humility to those who begin to realize the magnitude of our Creator. It sheds more light on 2 Corinthians 3:18, being changed from glory to glory. The result is a natural humbling in the presence of greatness without any reflection back to self.
