Adopted, Redeemed and Sanctified

Communion is when we gather to honor our Lord's command, "This do in remembrance of Me" (1 Cor. 11:24–25). The word translated "remembrance" means much more than "do this in memory of". The word carries the idea of our present participation in a past event.
