A Defense of Liberty, Part 1

In Colossians 2:16-19 Paul urges believers to resist being taken into spiritual captivity by issuing two commands concerning their response to the false teachers' demands. Paul's first command is this: Let no one stand as your judge concerning diets and days because these are only a shadow and because Christ is the substance. His second command is this: Let no one disqualify you by insisting on false humility, by insisting on the worship of angels, or by insisting on being separated from Chirst.
