Justification Illustrated

Throughout this survey of the biblical teaching about salvation it has been my purpose to preach from a passage that clearly displays the particular doctrine under consideration. This morning I feel torn between two. The key passage for justification theologically is Romans 3-4. But the passage that best displays justification pastorally may be Zechariah 3. Theologians use technical terms to describe justification, but is there a way of explaining it that even our children can understand? I think that's what we have in Zechariah 3...
