Characteristics of Christians

Points out five major distinctive characteristics found in Christians. The last point regarding following in "the footsteps of the flock" (Song 1:8) is not often recognized in our day. This is especially true as it is given corporate significance in its application to the church, as one moral person in space in time, and the relation this has to individual sanctification. "That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past" (Eccl. 3:15).
