The Bible does not introduce God, describe God or try to prove the existence of God. It assumes that everyone knows God. Natual revelation proclaims God and we all have a sense of God in our consciences. The Trinity is active in creation. Everything but God had a beginning. The Fourth Commandment proves that Genesis 1 is not mere symbolism, but is historical.
