Jesus Uses the Sword : How to Defend Ourselves from the Attacks of Satan!

In this second part of a series on Satan's opposition to the Gospel, Pastor Stoos reminds of the central message that Luke presents of Jesus being filled and led by the Spirit.
The questions considered this week were 1) How did Satan tempt our Lord; 2) How did Jesus respond to each; and 3) What is the lesson for us today. Jesus uses the Sword of the Spirit the Word of God and we see His favorite book may well have been Deuteronomy!
Pastor Stoos goes on to challenge us on whether we take the Scriptures serious enough today. With all the attacks on the Bible, do we love it enough? Do we read our Bibles? Do we study to show ourselves approved? Do we move on from the milk of the Word to the wisdom and maturity that it offers? AND most importantly, do we obey our Bibles?
