He shared with them nothing but what God had revealed in the Old Testament and how these things had found their fulfillment in Jesus Christ who was to suffer and by reason of His resurrection be the first to proclaim the unique light that leads to the ultimate life. Being the recipient and steward of that light, Paul shared it with the people of his day. How does this affect you? Trying to hold the limits and content of Paul’s Gospel in mind, how should you testify of what God has done in Christ Jesus? May we likewise receive this same unique life-giving light personified in Jesus Himself and recorded in the Scripture, and bear witness of Him accordingly to all the people God gives us opportunity to serve in our day.
