Why angels? Angels are definitely prominent figures in the OT and in Jewish mythology form the second century B.C. through the first century A.D.

Christ superior to angels because;

1. He is God (3A)
2. He is Omnipotent (3B)
3. He is the Only Begotten Son (4-5)
4. He is to be worshipped by angels (6)
5. He is a Righteous and eternal King (8-10)
6. He is the Creator of all things (10)
7. He is Eternal and Immutable (11-12)
8. Eternal vindication is promised to Him
9. Angels are mere servants
10. He made purification for sin

Conclusion:
God lifted up His Son and displayed Him as the Supreme and Highest above all, God's highest creatures are commanded to worship Him, and even all of His enemies will do it one day. Who, what and where is Christ to you? This is a good time to answer that question to ourselves.
