The Prayer of the Troops

Here we see Paul's concluding remarks for preparing for battle. The Armor of God is to be taken up and put on in the context of prayer. Prayer is vital to the morale of the troops and therefore is stressed at the end of Ephesians as it has been throughout. Prayer is defined as (1) communication with our Commander and (2)communication for our comrades.
