There are two kinds of divine calling to salvation: the universal and outward call of the gospel to all, and the inward, effectual call granted to the elect at the moment of salvation. God uses both of these calls together in saving the elect. In this session, we look at the internal, effectual call given to the elect at the time of the application of redemption. We also look at three qualities of the effectual call: it is internal, it is effective, and it is immutable.
