Sin and Its Consequences
Series Book of 1 Samuel
97
Should a true child of God be concerned with whether they are the LORD’s? How is Noah’s ark a type and picture of Christ? Why would some rather walk across cut glass on their knees than bow to Christ as the only Righteous One? Can God lie or deny Himself or be unfaithful or forgive sin without the shedding of the blood of the unspotted Substitute? Was Samuel sleeping when the passage says he ‘lay until the morning’ or was the LORD exercising his heart? Is God being just by condemning some and saving others in His Son? When we listen to the Word how should each of us weigh what it is that the LORD is saying to our heart? Is the same Spirit in Eli and Aaron and Job and all the LORD’s children to bless the LORD in all things?
