Meditations of the Misery of a Man Not Reconciled to God in Christ

It is a particularly devious stratagem of Satan, in the current times, to undermine the doctrine of the justice of God, whose offended holiness must be satisfied by the eternal condemnation of those who would spurn the gracious offer of forgiveness made through Christ. Sadly, this message is eagerly embraced by a generation whose ears are readily tickled by fashionable religious leaders of some transient prominence.

Let God’s candid fair warning in the Scriptures be unmuffled, and the sentry who trumpets our approaching peril sound loudly the alarm to surrender to Christ before his benevolent offer passes (Jeremiah 21:9).
