Baptized for the Dead

Paul continues to emphasize the reality of the resurrection from the dead. He includes the often misunderstood phrase "baptized for the dead". This does not mean that being baptized can benefit someone who has already did (such as the Mormons practice), but that baptism is all about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our identification with Him.
