Q.11 What are God's works of providence?
A.11 God's works of providence are His most holy, wise & powerful, preserving & governing all His creatures, & all their actions.

God is not the Creator of sin or the cause of evil. He is light & in Him is no darkness whatsoever. Yet, on the other hand, we do not serve a God whose hands are tied when it comes to tragedy & suffering in this world. The Scriptures do not reveal it as such, because tho He is not the Creator of sin or the cause of evil, moreover, God is also not the author of confusion. How can it be so? We believe that it is true, for God, who is TRUTH, declares it to be so.

God has been actively involved in every circumstance surrounding my ailments & disease from before the foundation of the world because His very best for me was to develop in my the character of Christ thru all my trials, tribulations, & yes, discomforts & disease, as it is written, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren" (Rom 8:28-29).

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (1 Cor 4:17); that eternal weight is what we know as being conformed to His image!
