Thirty Sayings of the Wise: Fear the LORD and the King (Prov. 24:3-34)

The wisdom books take all the same pictures and images from the rest of the Old Testmant and uses them to talk about the everyday life of the people of God.

Tonight we'll be talking about building houses (think of the house of God – the temple of Solomon!). planting vineyards – the righteous rising again.

All of it points to Jesus – certainly! – but it also reminds us that all scripture connects to us as well – through him.
