God's Attributes: Will - Pt 3

Systematic Theology - Lesson 39 - God's Attributes: Will - Pt 3 - Rom. 3:10-12; Phil. 2:12-13. Human beings are constituted as material and immaterial beings - body, soul, spirit, heart, conscience. Within our fallen human nature we find (as with any Being) that our will is free but at the same time bound. The will is limited by the nature, and natural ability. However, in discussing the "freeness" of our will we learn quickly from Scripture that there are things that fallen human beings cannot do. One of those things is an inability to believe without first having a supernatural (by grace) adjustment made to our will and desires.
