The Command to Think Rightly

Paul now commands right thinking as a cure for worry. Godly thinking and the developing of a Christian mind are utterly important in the Christian life. John Owen wrote: “That good which the mind cannot discover, the will cannot choose, and the affections cannot cleave to.”

In this sermon the importance of the mind and the transformation by the renewal of the mind is laid as a foundation before looking at Paul's practical application of thinking rightly in Phil 4:8-9.
