Rehoboam: Played for a Fool

King Rehoboam chose to listen to the counsel of his peers and ignore the wisdom of the older men. Two things stand out:
(1) Rehoboam's actions were in fulfillment of a curse on his father.
(2) Rehoboam was convinced that power can make people "do right."
