Criteria of False Teachers

At no time should we allow our bodies to rule our minds!

However, for the false Christian this will not be the case: They will allow their heads to be ruled by gratifying their lusts. This should not be a real surprise to us, for if we go back to the fall where Adam allowed his passion to overrule his mind we find the root of all apostasy. So it is with the false believer; he lives his life serving his god — his appetite.

And thus, the first question to ask in order to discern if one is a sham Christian is this: “What do they serve?” Are they serving themselves? Or, are they serving the true and living God? Now, this may be hard to discern with a deceiver, yet if one looks closely enough you will be able to tell.
