I Know You Are Sovereign and Holy

After the Lord answers Habakkuk's cry, the prophet is more perplexed than ever. God is raising up the wicked Chaldeans to bring judgement to Judah. As he once again approaches God in prayer in an attempt to understand, he begins with what he knows for sure. The eternal God is sovereign, holy and the Rock of refuge for His people. It is this knowledge of who God is that enables His people to remain steadfast and trust in His goodness, no matter what troubles we may face in this world of sin.
