227) Praying when You're in Trouble - James 5:13

How do you imagine God feels when you're in trouble? If your dad was a hard man, maybe you imagine God just scoffing, "Suck it up, buttercup." Or even worse, "You're getting what you deserve for making such dumb decisions."

But the Bible presents a very different picture. God wants us to appeal to him when we're in trouble (even if it's our own fault) because of his deep feelings of compassion for us.
