A Theology of Faces: Unmasking the Defacing of God's Image in Christ and the Redeemed

Why do we have faces at all? What has God intended to communicate about Himself, by our faces, and about His purposes in our creation and redemption? What is lost if we must cover our faces, and what is being cheaply sold if we willingly yield to it without good warrant for it?
