Marriage & Gender: The Training Parents (Tenderly Training & Teaching by Word)

God's eternal purposes and creation design of marriage and male/female differences are foundational to the health of the family, the church, the society. And they are rejected and under constant attack, to the doom of the family, the church, the society. So it is very important for us to study and review these foundational teachings from God's Word.

This sermon looks at the direction given to the parents, with the father's role emphasized since he is the head of the family. Examples are given to how a father (and mother) can provoke their children to ambivalence or anger, thus losing the child's heart and conduct. Then the father's (and mother's) positive charge to Turn away from such provoking, use the Ten Commandments, understanding the goal of Transitioning the child to adulthood, with biblical Training and Teaching as the foundational means to lovingly and tenderly raise the children.
