Our Tender-Hearted Savior

God's heart for his people is one of deep compassion and tender care. Nowhere is this made more evident than in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, who in taking to himself human flesh, lived among us, was tempted like us (yet without sin), and suffered for us. Jesus knows our sorrows and our needs, and he reveals this tenderness of heart by meeting us exactly where we are in our sorrow and promising never to leave us there.
