They Reigned a Thousand Years

Revelation reveals Christ, HIs sovereignty and His people. John the apostle wrote at the end of the first century. It followed a long period of growing apostasy and intense persecution. God's elect, redeemed, called and faithful people needed encouragement. The correspondence is orderly but not always chronological. He used symbolic language to convey his message. They were called to God's election, Christ's blood and priesthood.
