Dedication to God

God commands the believer: "Do not let sin reign in your mortal body" (12), then states again plainly, "Sin shall not have dominion over you" (14). He commands, "Do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin (13), but instead we must present our members as instruments of righteousness to God (14). The key in these three verses is found in the central theme: "Present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead."
