Mt. Olivet Discourse: The Parable of the Ten Bridesmaids

Jesus has foretold the desolation of Jerusalem, the Temple — and the formal, visible end to the Old Covenant. But, what of the interim? How do we look at the present age? Jesus tells us about the kingdom from the perspective of the present time period, when we are all waiting for the arrival of the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
