God's Reflective Justice

God in his gracious providence gets us to where we should be at. However, He does not overlook our sinful behavior. Jacob successful got to the place of finding a wife with God's help. In the process he had manipulated and deceived many individuals. God allowed Jacob to come face to face with his reflection in Laban. Laban manipulates Jacob in many of the ways Jacob had done to others. Jacob received God's punishment by himself being reflected back.
