Living by the Power of the Cross

Although the Christian life is filled with challenges and trials (John 16:33), it is empowered by God's Word through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Rev. McGarvey reminds us that it is not to be carried out in our own strength as we rely strictly in the power of the Cross of Christ.

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Cor. 1:18
