Shema - Hear, O Israel

A view of the most important command of all, and especially an examination of its preface, the Shema, Hear O Israel. An examination of the Unity of God and the antidote it provides to many false and poisonous views of God prevalent in and out of the church.
I have somewhat overstated the usual position on Simplicity, by claiming it is taught that all that is love/truth etc is God, though it is a corollary of asserting the identity of His Essence with His attributes. Otherwise the attribute would be greater and more extensive in being even than the Deity it describes, thus the identity simplicity prescribes threatens transcendence.
