Pauls letter to the Ephesians was written to new converts in Ephesus.The letter was written to heathens,slaves,greeks and others who knew nothing about the word of God.Paul is often elavated as one with a great theological mind. Yet Paul was able to effectively preach the gospel of Christ and him crucified to the brilliant thinkers of his day as well as the unlearned people of his day. Many of todays great preachers are consumed with preaching that will impress their fellow theologians, while lost souls sit in their congregations without a clue.Great preachers must be able to preach the gospel of Chrsit to both the Jews and the Gentles.
