Abram's Faithfulness to Lot and to God

Abram continues to honor and obey God, and God continues to bless Abram. As the previous decisions of Abram's nephew Lot gain him troubles, Abram defeats the surrounding kings to rescue him. Abram in his victory retains his reputation and only receives a blessing from Melchizedek for his efforts.
