How to Spot a False Prophet

Wouldn't it be nice if false prophets wore special clothes or a sign clearly identifying them? While this would be nice, unfortunately it isn't quite that simple.

The Word warns us that popularity, or signs or wonders or even an accurate prediction or two doesn't validate a prophet's ministry.

Instead, the Bible tells us that it is by what they say, and the fruit of their teachings that we will be able to discern them.
