Freedom by Gospel, Not Church

How does the church maintain the joy of freedom in Christ when our human nature is so intent on being deserving? Paul sees these things clearly: we must reject any discipleship or trust that does not have Christ and his freedom at its centre. In fact, the apostles, on whom the church is built, are completely at one on this matter
