Psalm 1

1. Three things to keep in mind about the 150 psalms
   a) They are words breathed out by God
   b) They often use the personal name or the living God: YHWY - Jehovah - the LORD
   c) They speak about who God is Himself, and what He has done and will do

2. Three things to notice about Psalm 1, the 'typical' psalm
   a) The difference between those who love God and those who reject Him
   b) The importance of God's law - the Bible: to be read, deeply thought about and fully lived out
   c) Who can live up to this standard?
