The Three Great Deliverances

Aim: To see that our Redeemer has liberated His church from our foes.

Exegesis: Christ frees us from sin by His gift of faith (v. 23) and grace (v. 24). Christ frees us from Satan through the power of His word (vv. 25-26a) and His touch (vv. 26b-27). Christ frees us from self by humbling our pride (v. 28) and refocusing our attention (v. 29).
