Is The Pope In The TRUE Church?!

On Tuesday, 10 July 2007, Pope Benedict XVI approved a document from his old offices at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith that stated that the Roman Catholic Church is the “one true Church,” while all non-Catholic churches are simply “ecclesial communities.”

"Christ 'established here on earth' only one church," the document said.

DISTILLED, this new declaration approved by Pope Benedict XVI claims that:

• Protestant churches are bogus.

• Ministers outside of the Roman priesthood are effectively phonies with no right to give communion.

• Salvation can only be found in the RC Church.

RESPONSE from the global - and nominal - Protestant church bodies (that have held countless ecumenical meetings with the Catholic Church spanning many decades), has been interesting ... and predictable.

It has been one of further compromise and capitulation.

The QUESTION, however, that deserves to be put in this context must read closer to:

'Is The Pope in the True Church?'!
