The treasures of wickedness lead to a miserable end and an unpleasant journey all along the way. With wealth and fame and a number of "moments" there is betrayal, discontentment, loneliness. Without Christ, this life is torturous especially in hindsight. But with Christ comes contentment and life eternal.
