As Jeremiah was imprisoned and the Chaldeans laid siege to the city, the Lord revealed that the prophet would be asked to redeem a field for his cousin. Seeing the futility of such a request, but trusting God, Jeremiah quietly and correctly followed through with the purchase. After that, he prayed and asked God for clarification. Jeremiah is a great example of the life of faith.
