The Asian Jews had created a riot at the temple in Jerusalem, accusing Paul of forsaking Moses and The Law. In this passage, Paul attempts to defend his actions and share his testimony, but the Jews cut him off midway. The Romans intervene to stop the riot, deliver Paul from his attackers and proceed to resolve the dispute civilly.
