On Being a Neighbor

The parable of the Good Samaritan is one of our Lord's best known teachings. Yet it is
also one of the most misunderstood of all our Lord's teachings! Remembering what
kind of parable this is will help us to better understand what Jesus is teaching us in the
Scripture before us. Two very types of questions are asked of Christ in this passage,
and two very different types of answers are given by Christ to these questions.
