You Got To Be Kidding! Love My Enemies?

We are commanded by our Lord to “Love our enemies. . . bless them that curse us . . . do good to them that hate us . . . pray for them which despitefully use us and persecute us”
Often our first reaction to this passage is, “You got to be kidding me.” Look at what is happening to our Christian rights here in America. We are no longer mainstream, there is a stream-roller heading toward us that may result in Christian schools, colleges and faith based organizations losing their accreditation and churches, synagogues and mosques losing their tax-exempt status. If that happens it will not be long before some of us may lose our jobs, be fined and even face prison. . .
. . . And Jesus wants us to, “Love our enemies. . . bless them that curse us . . . do good to them that hate us . . . pray for them which despitefully use us and persecute us”
How in the world are we to do this?
